Mindanao is the second-largest island in the Philippines, home to over 25 million people and rich in natural resources, cultural diversity and economic potential. Despite its promise, the region faces complex challenges—including poverty, conflict, and climate vulnerability—that require inclusive, peace-centered, and sustainable development approaches. MINCODE works at the intersection of peacebuilding, humanitarian response, and sustainable development—supporting civil society organizations and local governments across Mindanao.
